Save time and effort with this replacement Base Plate to fit any standard Boss stomp box, old or new type, even the ones with the little cut-out for the power socket.

They are a direct replacement, laser cut from stainless steel.

They come ready fitted with hook Velcro (can be sent with no velcro upon request) so just unscrew your existing base plate, attach new plate, fix pedal to board - job done!

Pro Tip......

To properly attach a Boss pedal to a board using Velcro, you cannot just stick a bit of hook Velcro to the rubber base. it will eventually come off, the adhesive on the Velcro does not react well to the rubber on the base of this type of pedal, and will over time lose its adhesion.

This is where Velcro gets some of its bad rap. Its not the fault of the Velcro its the application that is wrong. Also other elements like incorrect foam in the lid of case not pressing down on pedals in transit, boards stored upside down etc. The adhesive used on Velcro in contact with the rubber and/or label taking up most of the underside of the pedal doesn't really stand a chance especially when gravity is also thrown into the mix.

So........

To solve the problem, unscrew base plate, remove the rubber base, attach Hook Velcro to the nice clean reverse side and screw back down. hey presto! your boss pedals will now stay attached to your board.

But........

Some of the old Boss pedals such as the CE-2, CS-2, DM-2 etc are becoming collectors items in their own right. Dont ruin their value by removing the rubber base to attach hook Velcro to. Use these replacement base plates instead!

Or just use these replacement plates to save time and effort attaching any std Boss pedal to any Loop Velcro based board as they just drop straight in.
