The Neo Instruments Ventilator II Rotary Cabinet Simulator is an effects pedal for guitar or keyboards and replicates the sound of a Leslie 122 rotary effect building upon the previous model (Ventillator 1) by having a smaller enclosure, the addition of a stereo input, an internal stop switch, a separate slow and fast speed control, a separate mix/distance control for the Lo and Hi rotor simulators, a level control and finally a speed or mix control via an expression pedal.
The drive section faithfully recreates the tube saturation in the Leslie’s amp whilst a pristine super clean true-bypass signal can also be achieved. All this is housed in a stylish and rugged black chassis ready to be put against the demands of the road.
- Faithful replication of the model 122 Leslie’s® rotary effect
- Independent emulations of bass and treble rotors
- Faithful replication of the original’s mechanical properties
- Speaker simulation emulating the 122’s frequency response
- Same 800Hz crossover as the original
- Adjustable rotary speed and acceleration
- Drive section that simulates tube saturation in the Leslie’s amp
- Variable placement of virtual microphones
- Relay-equipped true bypass circuit
- Speaker simulation may be switched off for guitar amps
- Port for a remote footswitch / half-moon switch
- Remotely switchable rotary stop
- Rugged die-cast aluminum chassis and recessed buttons
- Simple, straightforward analog handling
- Footswitches for Bypass, Stop and Slow/Fast rotary speed
- Parameters include Speed, Balance, Drive, and Distance
- Mono input, stereo output
- Tempo- or mix control via expression pedal
- 12V DC power supply included
- Dimensions (W x D x H): 160 x 140 x 57 mm
