Classic Distortion+ / 250 pre-amp style Overdrive

CPB Mustard Drive

£105.95

Custom Pedal Boards Mustard Drive

Classic Distortion+ / 250 pre-amp style overdrive recreated in a mini pedal enclosure.

The Mustard Drive has a lot of gain on tap, ranging from clean boost to crunchy overdrive and near fuzz. Some of most iconic rock riffs has been created with these tones. The Mustard Drive sounds glassy smooth and dynamic, with a very musical attack and compression. If you need an overdrive with lots of gain, this is the pedal for you!

Sounds great when combined with other gain pedals such as the CPB Muff War, Mini Driver, Mr Squeezy and Big Up.

Mini pedals are a great space saver, especially on loop switcher boards!

All CPB pedals and signal solutions are handmade in the UK using high quality components, care and love.

Bjorn says: I’ve had some great fun with this mini board and pedals. Everything is sold separately and, as mentioned above, you can use whatever mini pedals (or bigger pedals) you want. If you’re in the market for some mini pedals, I do recommend that you try some of these. The price is right and the tone even better!

I absolutely love the Mustard Drive. Haven’t been using it for awhile but the other day I needed to just record some classic rock rhythm guitars for a new project. I plugged the guitar straight into my Lanely Lionheart, got a nice crunchy JTM kind of tone and for some reason, the only drive pedal I had laying around was the Mustard. I plugged it in and it sounded awesome! Always been a huge fan of the script Distortion but what I like about the Mustard is that it has more lows and gain. Absolutely fantastic compression going on with a slightly cranked amp.
